My x husband had court ordered writs on the land we shared,

Customer Question

My x husband had court ordered writs on the land we shared, from creditors. I now own the land outright. They are listed on the certificate of title. Is there an expiration on any writs, there from 2002 and 2005. If so how can I have them removed?

Hello, thank you for the question. You're certain that these are a lien or other encumbrance on title? When the land title transfer to your ownership solely?
