Customer Question

I have been accused by my direct reports of misconduct but I have been cleared of all accusations by the legal department of the company. I however do not want to return to this company and the company has offered me 1-yr salary as compensation. The concern I have is with future employment as one individual(Consultant and previous owner of the company) has a large sphere of influence in the market place and I am concerned about future employment. What are my options from a legal perspective?
