My wife was born with her part of her tail bone missing. Doctors been prescribing pain killers for over 20 years. Asked ,but was told that she does not qualify to see a specialist. Is there a different way to get some help?

What do you mean when you say she was told she does not qualify to see a specialist?

Does she have a family doctor and has she asked the family doctor to send her to a pain management specialist or a doctor that specializes in bones?
