My husband has gone through the correct channels at s work

Customer Question

Hi,
My husband has gone through the correct channels at his work place regarding an employee who has on more than a few occasions come into the afternoon shift under the influence of alcohol. He has driven 45 minutes from his home to work. When my husband has contacted his shop steward and general foreman about this situation, he has been told"that's just Frank" or "he's been doing this for years". Just yesterday, there was an e-mail sent with my husband's name on it and this matter. He is afraid because of the "old boys network", that he will be either fired or possibly a false accusations charge. I know he has done the right thing and gone through the right channels but nobody at the workplace is taking this seriously. What should he do?
