I provided a $5000 retainer to a lawyer he made two phone

Customer Question

I provided a $5000 retainer to a lawyer he made two phone calls if that he returned me $500 and kept $4500. Everything else was taken care of by the district attorney I. I had to attend some courses and I'm wondering if it is fair that he kept $4500 for two phone calls?

Hello, thank you for the question. Do you have a bill yet from the lawyer for this amount he's saying he's charging you?

Hello Mike, I'm still here if you want to discuss your lawyer's account. There might be some urgency because of limitation periods to challenge the account, so if you want to talk about it please get back to me.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Last question, did you sign a "retainer agreement" when you paid the lawyer?
