My husband left 25% of the matrimonial home in s will to s 2

Customer Question

My husband left 25% of the matrimonial home in his will to his 2 children he left all our bank accountants joint with me as the beneficiary on them. I understand I should be getting half of the 25% share because I'm his wife. Also I deducted the funeral expenses from his 25%
The 25% share was assessed to be 174000 from which I deducted the 40000$ expenses for the funeral and took 65000$ for me and split the the other 65000 in 2 for the two children I was told by my lawyer this was lawful now that the children hired a lawyer and are disputing this my lawyer is saying it's not right what he did and is saying I'm not entitled to the 65000. Please let me know what is the truth in this matter
Thanks
