Customer Question

this question is a bout CASL
Im working on an online business, wanting to know if I should rather operate the company from the US given the strict anti email law here in Canada? Or, maybe it doesnt make a difference as long as the emails are sent from the US?

The law is that the Act applies to all email that is sent from, or accessed by, a mail server housed in Canada.

So it applies if you have mail servers in Canada but it also applies if the recipients access email through a server located in Canada.
