My brother has been with his common-law wife for 29 years. When my mother dies he will get 1/3 of her estate. If he splits up what is my sister-in-law, what is the legally portion she should be given?

She would not get any portion of the estate.

Inheritances are not shared even if there was a legal marriage.

And common law spouses do not share assets at all so she has no right whatsoever to any portion of the inheritance.
