As per http://www.transportation.alberta.ca/Content/docType44/Production/splquickref.pdf, the penalty for such is a mandatory court appearance, meaning it is somewhat at the judge's discretion. Generally though, seeing as how for 50km/h over it is a fine of $350 or so and 6 demerits, you could be looking at 6 demerits + and fine of $1,000, perhaps more depending on the circumstances.
