I moved to canada in 1970 ith my family as a landd immigrant. My father, now deceased, was a canadian citizen as is my sister. I left canada in 1986 and am now living in Costa rica with my costa rican wife. I have a british passport. Will I be able to return to canada permanently.

Are you saying your father became a citizen sometime after you landed? He was not a citizen when you were born was he?
