My fiance owns a house with her dad. We will be living in

Resolved Question:

My fiance owns a house with her dad. We will be living in that house after we are married. I will be making the mortgage payments for that house. My fiance has given me a pre-marriege contract stating this house will not be part of the marital assets and that I am not entitled to get back my mortgage payment monies if we decide to split. Is this type of pre-marriage contract legal?

This is a marriage contract and it's legal.

You do not have to agree with it of course.

And for sure you need your own lawyer to review it before you sign it.

I hope that has happened.
