Well I took your advice and hired a lawyer. My ex husband ran a family business that he took over and has been President of for the last 23 or so years. As soon as we seperated within a month he opened a new company with a new name. he continued using the old company as a home base but the new company was now officially at are home address. Can I sue for some entitlement to that company even though it is really his parents company under a new name.

Let me explain his parents own company 1 and Dan owns company 2 but they are still using all the same guys, trucks, same shop address. The only difference is that the company 2 address for mailing purposes and because there is a office in the home company 3's mail goes the the house. If the company was in his parents name then I think that makes me not entilted to nothing even though Dan ran it??
