hi i took my truck in to canadian tire to get an oil change and an safty inspesin and they keep my truck for to days and took it apart without asking me and charged me $1002 for sumthing that should of cost me $150 tops what should i do
Are you saying they did this before checking with you at all?In other words, did they simply think you had agreed to this or that they didn't need to ask?I am puzzled as standard practice is to call and give a report and indicate what needs to be done and how much it will cost.What is their explanation for not calling? Did they make a mistake or what?Do they have the truck?What province is this please?
no i got the truck back i had to pay them the $1002 for it tho it was in regina sk they didnt give a reson for not calling just keap walking away when i tryd to talk to them the truck is only two years old and still under worrty they said there was alecky seel and they fixd both sides and brock the roters and had to put new 1s on and new brecks and my brecks were new b4 i took it in they never calld me at all or i would of told them not to touch it
the price for the oil change was $32.99 and the safty was$ 99.95 that was all i told them to do
When you handed them the truck was there anything that you signed that said they could do what they saw fit to do?Was it discussed that they would call you if it needed work?What was there explanation as to why they did not get consent before doing the work?
no i never signed anything and they were only gana give me a provincial safty and an oil chang and they wouldnt give a reson just walked away then another guy would walk over then he walked away and sum1 else come over they just said there was a leacky seal and they fixted it so the thruck was gana b a while
