My brother had his will drafted by a lawyer, after gifts of land, machinery and $ 10,000.00 was bequeathed and devised to some sisters; nieces and nephews, a residuary clause was added to his will stating, " I Give, devise and beqeath the rest and residue to my sisters to share and share alike amongst them" There was no alternate benificiaries added to the clause. Four sisters have deceased several years prior to the testators death. Do the deceased sisters children inherit the deceased sisters share of the rest and residue of the testators residual estate assets? Is there an anti Lapse statute in Sask.?
