Customer Question

Would a realtor get paid their commissions if there is a writ on a house. The bank would get paid first then would the excess go to the writ or would the realtor get paid?

The writ would get paid first as it comes off the sale of the house and in fact the title cannot be transferred until the writ is removed and that is not going to happen until it is paid off.

But you would still personally owe the commission of course.
