Hi

Do you still need help on this?

No. I am looking to buy an old Saab that has a Takata airbag, which has been subject to recall for exploding upon deployment. The overall risk of death from each airbag seems to be about 1/1,000,000, with injuries about 10 times more common. As near as I can figure, there have been about 12,000 deployments in the Saab models I am looking at, without any explosions, injuries or deaths. Are Saabs any better, worse, the same or is there insufficient data? As a physician, I have a rudimentary understanding of statistics

If you want, I can do a hypothesis test, so that to check if there are any difference between the two proportions?
