My DIC Oil Pressure Low indicator go's on when I'm idling.. when I press on the gas it turns off. When
JA: How old is your oil pump? Has the check engine light come on?
Customer: I do know how old is the oil pump. The engine light is off
JA: What is the model/year of your Cadillac?
Customer: 2005 Cadillac Escalade all wheel dr. 6.0L V8
JA: Are you fixing your Escalade yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I change the sending unit. I replace the purge valve solenoid, and the vapor canister
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I replace my torque converter clutch solenoid, change engine oil, change transmission fluid,change engine oil cooler line.

If the sending unit is new and not defective then the next steps would be to remove the sending unit and install a Manuel gauge and read the actual oil pressure. Has this been done yet?

Okay if replacing the oil pressure sending unit did not solve this problem then you may very well have an actual oil pressure concern here the only way to know this would be to test the actual pressure.
