Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

With the brake applied do the rear lights illuminate?

Are you just wanting to get it drive able to get it to a shop or diagnose and repair yourself?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The brake lights do come on. The shifter will come forward but then you move it up and down and it stayes in park

Since the shifter handle will move but the trans stays in park then means the shift linkage between the shifter and trans has popped off or is broken. an you watch the shift linkage connection on the trans while another moves the shifter?
