if i have too much oil in the compressor will it keep it from charging the system ?
JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: yesterday
JA: What is the model/year of your Cadillac?
Customer: 1998 deville
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i put a new a/c compressor on yesterday and i can not get it to charge i also replaced ac dryer and orvice tube
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: i vacumed the system with a old school vacume machine

Is the compressor engaging but not sucking the refrigerant in thru the low side port, or is the compressor not engaging at all?
