XLR-V 2006, 5000 miles is not accepted by Dealer's Smog computer [Tustin California] for testing
Advised to drive the car 100 miles and come back???!!!!

This is due to the catalyst and other montors not being "ready" what they want you to do is perform what is called a "drive cycle" when the computer sees a mix of city and hwy and city driving it sets the monitors so emmisions tests can be ran. Usually 100 miles of mixed driving will do it. If it does not they will need to perform further diagnosis of why the monitors are not setting to "ready"
