JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: Recently started running rough, has a mis while idle and drive,. replaced the rotor (melted at tip, replaces cap (seemed ok, and plug wires, but didn't change performance!

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.Thanks for requesting me to answer your question.Did you also replace spark plugs? or just ignition leads with cap+rotor?Does it looks like only one cylinder misfiring? backfiring?

I also set the gap of plugs (.60)

Hi,Well, looks like you replaced all components of the ignition system, so I would check fuel injectors and injectors wires as have seen once when injector wire was shorted to ground resulting in injector staying open all the time and squirting too much fuel. Maybe it is worth to have removed and checked/ cleaned on a special machine.If there is nothing wrong with fuel injectors, then I would suspect engine timing. If I remember correct, those engine nave had some issues with timing due to weak camshaft sprockets that could cause timing chain to jump few teeth.
