ALL GM Radios since 2001 are Class 2 DATA Type Radios
There is NO Customer Input to UNLOCK the Radio without GM Dealer Scan Tool
The Class 2 Radio has to be Programmed to the Vehicle it is installed in
There is no other way
apprx 1 hour labor
Be sure the Radio you purchased is for your Cadillac
IF it is "Bose" & your Cadillac does NOT have Bose System, it will NOT work
