Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I'm an independent contractor here at Just Answer.

Thanks for asking your question and letting me try to help you.

Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 11 months ago.

Lets start with a tune up as the first attempt to knock out all these misfire codes. Can you do that and report back on the how the vehicle runs and which codes return?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I am not tech person so I don't have tool to tune. Can you please tell all the detail so I can tell a tech person all your suggestions in one time? BTW, is it possible that the computer needs to be changed? thx
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 11 months ago.

I see no reason to change the computer.

You need to perform a tune up, monitor the fuel pressure, and check for vacuum leaks to address these codes.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
At the beginning, the error code was only p0305 Cylinder 5 misfire detected ---Per googling web, seemed it could be fixed by cleaning spark plug or "Start by checking for intake leaks an if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 5." But I didn't do anything as I don't have tool. Shortly we found p2097 + P0305. Next time we found p2097, P0305, p0302 and p0300,p1380, p2099, p0301. detail below:Cadillac CTS 2007 2.8 L is 47400 US miles now(normal weather environment). It got engine light on with codes:
Cycles of misfire data:2?5
engine speed:65? RPM
ECM System 00

p0301 Cylinder 1 misfire detected;Last test:not run; this Ignition:Not Run ; Since clear:failed history 8/9I also found service bulletin of #PIP4964C: SES Light with P2097 or p2099 but need you to make a detail step by step plan for all errors so as to fix all: http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/TSb/DownloadPdf?id=182936No rush but Waiting for your detail step by step plan in one time for all errors so as to ask to fix all. Thanks
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 11 months ago.

If you are planning to take it somewhere to get fixed its best they do the diag and repairs that diag suggests rather than you telling them to replace X or Y because that is all they will do regardless if its the right repair or not, nor will they warranty any of there work. In my previous post I mentioned the things I feel like need to be done based on these codes.

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Please make a detail step by step plan for all errors so as to fix all problems. That's why I pay you here. Or I would not spend time or money here.
Expert:  Chris (aka- Moose) replied 11 months ago.

1) Replace the plugs and wires.

2) Clear codes and retest.

3) If lean or rich codes return

4) Check for vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, dirty MAF/MAP sensor

Those are the steps to follow
