99,247 miles. VIN#166DT57VX80142443. I'm wondering if this repair is covered under any special warranty.

Codes are critical, and I do recommend getting the codes that were set again, it eliminates all the guess work. The misfire could be anywhere from a vacuum leak over that cylinder, a bad fuel injector, a bad spark plug, a bad ignition coil or low compression. I wouldn't know what your warranty covers, sorry.

HI there, I am Cam. I have run your Vin through the GM warranty system and found that there is a chance this may be covered under either emissions warranty that is good for another 3 weeks as you can see here. (Emission Select Component Ltd Wty)

There are a couple special policies that may cover it. 11340 is a special policy about timing chains. The second, 14582 is for a throttle body issue.
