89 allante brake pedal hard but no brakes - res. full - i've been told to replace whole assembly of res., pump,and (accumulator0??)GM no longer makes replacement parts and I've been told by other owners it's possible to repair just the component that's bad (maybe even the relay) Any ideas?

Hi. When you hold your foot on the brake pedal and start the engine, does the pedal drop any? or stay the same?

I don't have car right now but as I recoleck it doesn't move

Ok. Remove the vacuum hose from the power brake booster and hold your finger on it to see if it has vacuum
