Customer Question

My 2012 SRX will not start this morning. The display shows a Stabili Track Service warning. But it also showed a no key/fob sensor as well. The car started blinking lights and a clicking sound under the hood. Ideas? Steve.

No I do not have a multimeter. Do you think a dead battery would have enough juice to blink the lights off/on for 2 hours now? It started doing that after I first tried to start the car.

Yes. Once the voltage gets low it will make the different modules (in your case the security module) go haywire even though it still has plenty of current in it to keep running accessorys.. its just supplying the current at a lower voltage.

If you got a charger try charging it.. or you can try jump starting it if you got GOOD cables or just pull the battery out and take it to a parts store to charge and load test if you have another vehicle to take the battery with.
