Cam, The headlamp went out on the passenger side of my 2003

Customer Question

Hi Cam, The headlamp went out on the passenger side of my 2003 cts with HID bulbs. I replaced the bulb but the headlamp does not come on. Wondering how to check the bulb and wondering how to find if there is a fuse for it. The drivers side works fine.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.
The HID (headlamp) system is made up of a ballast and an arc tube and on your CTS is very common for the ARC tube to fail resulting the lamp not lighting. In order to determine if that is the cases you are going to need to do some testing. I have enclosed the steps in the link below, copy and paste the link to your browser to open and view it.
