Can you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when you first turn the key to run before turning the key to start? If not the fuel pump relay probably isn't working and on that system, after cranking the engine over long enough that the oil pump builds up 4 psi of oil pressure, the oil pressure switch will override the fuel pump relay on run the fuel pump.

I'm going to check this immediately;)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it runs for approx 3 seconds and the stops if I don't start.

Well then it's not that then. A faulty coolant temperature sensor might cause this also. Is the check engine light remaining on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No lights on the dash . Thie defaut had appear this winter, and the gone . It came back a few weeks ago, although the ouside temp reaches 86°F.
Once started, everythings okay, smooth idle, good power...

I am reading a tsb that states, "

IF THE CRANKING TIME EXCEEDS TWO SECOND

S AND THE ENGINE DOES NOT START, THIS

EXTENDED CRANKING MAY BE CAUSED BY A FU

EL SYSTEM LEAKDOWN CONDITION. REFER TO

BULLETIN 476307 FOR ADDITIONAL

INFORMATION AND DIAGNOSIS."

Now let me see what that says.

Thanks a lot, but I have noticed it ran only for 2 sconds, no more.
I will check visually the Injectors, since I don't have the special tool they mentioned.
Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

You might be able to rent or borrow some of those special tools, call you local auto-parts stores.

Thank you. My visual checks din't give me any info. There is no leak nor fuel smell near the injectors.
Don't you think there might be a faulty temp sensor? How can I check it ?
Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

There is a Coolant Temperature Sensor is located Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, mounted on intake manifold.

If it tests ok or you just decide to replace it and it still does this, I suggest you look into renting or borrowing the special tools.
