Cadillac Deville: I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville. The fuel

Customer Question

I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville. The fuel gauge doesn't work in that it read full at all times. Anywho, I ran out of gas. I put 5 gallons in it and it won't start. I found the fuel pump fuse had blown. I replaced it but don't hear it prime. The relay tests out fine. There is also no fuel coming out of the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. I believe the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Can you detail how I do that? Thanks in advance!!

Is the Fuel Sender Lock nut Wrench necessary or can I use a different more accessible tool?

They have the tool you can barrow from parts store but you should be able to get it with a hammer and screwdriver. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions, thanks.
