Thanks for trusting us with your problem. I have trained in the automotive field and currently work as a shop foreman. I will be helping you today.Believe it or not the problem is very common. This is what the dual climate systems revert to when the level of refrigerant is to low. It will work only on the passenger side but not the drivers side. Recharge the AC system it will work again. I would also suggest getting it checked for any slow leaks. Thank you!
i will get my gauges put some in. what do you run the pressures at? 30-45Low 175-200 HIGH
They should be above 30 PSI and below 475 PSIEfficiently it should be at 35-40 PSI low side. I know it is operating but with the insufficient amount.
ok i have put it up to 300 psi and have colder air but the pass side is about 15 degrees cooler is that norm
Did the drivers side impRove
yes driver is closer to pass side its 112 here today so its hard to tell for sure
I would suspect the levels are still low. Normally you would want to remove and recharge the complete system to ensure it is filled to the correct levels. From the sounds everything is working as it should just being low causes the insufficient cooling on the drivers side. Thanks!
