I have a 1999 cadillac DeVille D eleglance I bought about a week ago and every since every stop light it shuts off but starts up until next light. I have replaced the MAP senser TP senser Temperature senser and the thermostat. Please tell me anything U can think of that would make it shut off. Even in park after 60 - 90 seconds it shuts down. 4.6 Motor Help !!!!

Just stalls. Sorry I was at parts store picking up plugs & wires because another expert said because it runs at low RPMs and miss would shut it off. I find when I stop at a light I put in netrel and RPMs go up and it does,nt stall. What U think about plugs &wires? Anything U can think of that I can check out that would stall the car. Thanks. the code and the symptoms point to a failed tcc solenoid
To repair this the transmission and engine are partly dropped on the drivers side to allow the side cover of the trans to be removed to replace the TCC solenoid. In 95% of the cases this is all that is required the torque converter itself is fine so the transmission does not have to be removed completely.
The job books for 6 hours labor and the part is about $50 so just under $1000 including fluid to repair.
