Hello and welcome, when you say the abs shakes, does this happen at slow speeds and turning the wheel?
35 mph. But diffetent speeds. Genetally slowing down sometimes. Going around a curve but again some light braking. not noticed turning. Thanks
has the abs system been scanned for trouble codes?
No DTCs come up on being scanned by a general mechanic. Non dealer.
ok, what your are describing is a problem with a irractic speed signal from one of the wheel speed sensors. this can be one of any of the four speed sensors. one on each wheel. but in most cases is one of the front sensors. now this can be caused by a bad wheel speed sensor or the wiring to the sensors. in most cases it is a partial break in the wheel speed sensors wiring harnesses. here is the tough part. the only way to run this problem down is with a high end scan tool. mainly a GM tech 2 scan tool. this tool allows the reading of real time data. this tool is used in dealerships and some of your larger repair garages. pretty expensive test tool
