Does the actuator have a large plastic cam behind it, or does it mount directly to a single shaft coming out the side of the a/c case?
the actuatoris connected to a plastic controal arm
If it is a large round cam then it is the mode actuator. If it is just a shaft then it is the temperature actuator. One quick way to tell is remove the two screws hoding the acutautor in place then remove the actuator and turn the shaft behind it to determine if the temperature changes or if the modes change (vent, floor, defrost)
