Greetings and welcome to just answer!!!!So the blower does not work on any speed?Bob
Sorry Bob, our church is having VBS and I had to help.
Thanks and no problems. Good ole vacation bible school, very important. most common problem is a blower motor and blower motor processor, but i would do some tests that require some "special" tools. The blower motor can draw way to many amps and causes the blower module to burn out also. Here is the test:With engine running, and the blower on high, place a high beam headlamp bulb across the blower motor connector on the Purple and Black wires. If the light lights up, replace the blower motor. Backprobe the Black wire, pin A of the blower motor control processor. Should have less than 100 millivolts drop from B- to this wire. Backprobe the Red wire, pin B with a voltmeter to ground, and you should see battery voltage. Backprobe the Gray/Black wire terminal C with a voltmeter to ground, and you see 1.5 volts with the blower motor commanded on, and 5 volts with the blower commanded off. If the preceding voltage checks are good, replace the blower Motor Control Processor. Please let me know if I can help further,Bob
Thanks Bob, It was the blower motor. We had to replace it.
Great!!! Don't forget to leave positive rating for me, I do not get credit for my work until you do. Bob
Bob, I left a positive rating for you this morning. Let me know if I need to do anything else.
