Someone broke off the hood ornament to my 1997 Cadillac Deville and I am having trouble finding a replacement. Will not one of the later years, say 2000 or 2004 fit the hood?

1997 appears to be its own design. I'm trying to find if 98 or 99 is the same. I'm going to send these to you now. I will correspond with you one more time with additional choices or info that I find. Give me about 15 minutes.
That is a hard to find part. I looked everywhere. 1997 stands alone. 1997,1998,1999 may be the same. I am finding some conflicting information though. Here is what I recommend, purchase a silver ornament, then you can have it gold plated. Here is a link of one of these companies. Check with the local car dealerships around you, they should be able to recommend a company that will plate it for you. That will get everything looking the way it should for a very affordable price.

I can tell you 1993-1996 are the same, and 2000-2005 are the same. You need one in between. I would be cautious though, the mounting is where the difference would be a problem
