used a tester, battery checked out fine. went through system using last known source of power method, got to relay panel under hood, can't find starter to check if starter itself is getting power, all ignition relays are closing and opening at the right times and responding to correct voltage requirements.
i can get one again, buddy went home w/ the tools
what you want me to look for and where you want me to check?
I will give it a shot, just seems to easy to be a battery issue when running the hud reads out 15v while running. Did notice some sparking when I disconnected the neg lead to clan it at the chassis, maybe parasitic draw. Will check it out.
come to think of it, the service engine soon light does stay on while all this is going on, I just figured iot was a timed cycle after the engine starts
I got no codes from the DIC system except "change brake pads because I changed the pads and the clip for the sensor wasn't right. no other codes. but the service engine soon light stays on. I even checked the main power connection to the fuse panel, (the wires leading to the fuse box) I am having a problem finding suitable grounds to test voltage against, but what little I do find have the meter reading in millivolts, so I guess the connection issue is warranted, but I do not see how I can personally connect and tighten each post on the battery and guarantee positive contact and things still play out like a loose/poor connection
