2001 SEVILLE: HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSORS

This answer was rated:

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSORS ON A 2001 SEVILLE/STS?
DIFFICULT OR EASY? ANY ADJUSTMENTS AFTER REPLACEMENT?
They are on the front of the block near the oil filter. They are easily visible, but tough to get your hands and tools on. You'll have to access them from under the car, remove the bottom shield, and I use a long, long 1/4 drive extension with a 10mm universal socket to get the bolts out. No adjustments necessary after replacement. Make sure you buy original GM sensors, they have been completely redesigned.
