Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
1. HOW I DISABLE THE SIR SYSTEM (SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT).
2. LOCATION OF THE REAR COMPARTMENT FUSE PANEL.
3. LOCATION THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE PANEL.
4. HOW TO RE-PROGRAM THE (IPC).
1 disconnect the battery
2 under the rear seat
3 under the hood on drivers side
4 A Tech 2 scan tool is needed & access to GM software.
(IPC) MEANING ?.
WHY I HAVE TO RE-PROGRAM ?
Instrument panel cluster = IPC
When an IPC is put into a vehicle it has to be programmed for that exact vehicle.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE.
