northstar 4.6 v8 engine overheating problems?
Hello JACUSTOMER, do you get any smoke from the exhaust? Will the coolant boil out of the overflow?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
very little exhaust,it does boil out overflow.
Okay. It sounds like you may have a bad head gasket. If the head gasket is slightly failing then it will allow a small amount of smoke from the exhaust and cause the engine to overheat from combustion pressures getting into the cooling system.
