can this be done with out removing the headlight assembly from the car

I sent digrams in last post. You need to get down to back of the headlamp assy. remove the cover on the back via screws. You then will be looking at the back of both bulbs. unplug them, twist them to left and they will pop out. Install new one without touching the glass on the bulb. her is the picture again

Yes, you can do without removing it. Depending on which side, it may be a little tight work area, if soemthing is in the way, move it. You just need to get to back of the ass'y and get the cover off to expose the back of the bulbs
