On back bumper right next to plate there is a black cover with a key slot. use ign key to open. The use the jack assembly rod that came with vehicle insert rod and turn counter clockwise to lower and clockwise to raise

thank you. however, I purchased the vehicle used and cannot seem to locate the rod.

Is the rod hidden?

If no rod, can i manually release the tire.

The tools kit will be in a black leather bag and will be located in 1 of 3 places. in back of vehicle on either left or right inside the compartment remove door to access. or under the driver side back seat. flip up. or under hood mounted to fender.
