cadillac escalade: ac stopped working..ve changed..relay

Resolved Question:

i have a 03 cadillac escalade and the motor blower for the ac stopped working i've changed the motor blower and it still not working, a local mechaninc recommended to look into the motor blower relay but im not sure what that is. Can somebody please advice? It would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

By manual do u mean i can adjust the temperature myself?

I would have to agree with the mechanic that recommended the blower controller.
This part is located next to the blower motor....

Ok great, do u happen to have a part number for this? or one that u kow works. I've seen it many on the net but dont know which one would work or be best for my car.

There are a few different ones that could be used in these trucks. It all depends on the options for yours. That being said, I would not be able to give you accurate info on that. As well, you should inspect the connector for that controller as well, these can melt too.

The best suggestion I have would be to go to a dealer parts counter, give them your VIN# XXXXX they would be able to give you the exact part number you need, but this number may not match something ordered online.
