Customer Question

I requested sick time of 24 hours to cover my shift (2 12's). My supervisor said no because there was no one to cover those hours. her job was to cover, which she did. I was upset and said "ok, I quit". 6 days later I received a termination letter, certified mail, that was written 3 days before. I'm being told by the employer that I not eligible for the 24 hours because they terminated me. I'm confused, I was an employee when I asked for the sick time. thank you, ***** ***** Gatewood
