i work 40 hrs per wk. Next week we have to attend a mandatory meeting which will last 2 hrs. My manager has asked us to take longer lunch breaks the following 2 days to reduce the overtime. Is this legal?

Yes, requiring a longer lunch break is legal; even if it is to avoid overtime. You must however be allowed to use that lunch time/break for your own devices which means you can even leave the work premises.
