Customer Question

If an employee is getting paid $25 per hour and accrues pto, then if the employee is demoted to $20 an hour, does the pto get paid at the current demoted rate or is the employee entitled to pto at the rate at which is was accrued?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.

The employee would be entitled to the PTO that he or she accrued at $25 an hour at a rate of $25 an hour, but all subsequent pto would be paid at $20 an hour.
