Customer Question

I am a teacher at LAUSD. I am on paid Admin. leave. I've been accused of felony child abuse. The charges have been dismissed, and no criminal charges or investigation is pending against me presently. LAUSD is seeking my dismissal. Will I lose my retiremnt pension if I am dismissed by the district?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.

Yes, as long as you are not convicted of felony child abuse, if you are dismissed, you would still be entitled to your retirement pension.
