Question

How do you set the time zone on an atomic watch?

Sent to General Experts August 04, 2007 10:40 p.m.

I bought the watch from Citicards and it seems to be an "on time" watch.

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy)~

Can you give us a little more information? What is the brand of the clock? Is it a wall clock, indoor/outdoor clock, alarm clock?

Thank you so much!

It is a watch. It has three buttons on the side of it. One where the stem normally is, beside the "3" and the others at the "2" and "4" positions. When I press the button positioned beside the "3," the minute hand sweeps around the face and then stops. It takes it a few seconds to a minute or so to resume working as normal.

The brand seems to be "On-Time," at least that is the name inscribed under the "12." It says, "Atomic" above the "6" and "Water Resistant" and "Made in China" on the back.

I got another offer for the same watch on a credit card bill yesterday, so I know that the company is name J-O Direct. Their address is 7500 Excelsior Boulevard, St. Louis Par, MN 55426. No phone is listed.

The watch came in a plastic case inside a cardboard box. There were no directions enclosed.

I look forward to hearing from you and will be happy to pay you if you can discover the answer to this. Incidentally, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and right now, it is set to Central.

Thank you,

Miranda

Hi Miranda~

I haven't yet found any directions on how to set your watch. I have however found a toll free phone number for J-O Direct that you may be able to call and get some assistance from. I searched the Better Business Bureau website in MN to find it. The telephone number is (800) 331-7804. You can view the BBB's report on this company at http://www.mnd.bbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=96034443&language=1

I will continue my search for "On-Time" brand atomic watches.
