I want to know where and how to purchase items at true wholesale prices in order to resell them for a profit on ebay. Lots of people do it so it must be possible. Items I might be interested in include ipods, electronics, video games etc. Please do not direct me to a website pretending to sell things at wholesale prices. If you have experience in this area you will know what I mean. Thank you for your time. :)

Hello and thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. However, the websites you suggested that I look at appear to be pretty typical of the type of thing I was able to find myself. I am looking for more information on legitimate supply chains and how to become a part of one. These types of websites are basically retail websites trying to masquerade as wholesale. I don't think the information I am looking for will be available on the internet, or I probably would have found it already. I'm sorry it took me so long to respond. What sort of financing do you have? Most electronics wholesalers will only sell to you if you are able to buy large numbers (dozens, perhaps even hundreds) at a time, so unless you have a significant amount of financing available you might not be able to access them. Also, many require (for tax reasons) that you possess a retail business license or enter into exclusivity agreements with them.

What, exactly, is your situation right now?
