Our property records that show liens etc are not on line. I am looking for a web site that I had previously visited. It was free. It showed mortgages along with other property info.

The state is Georgia and the city is Savannah.
It may have been a state site==I am not certain.
I do know that our county (Chatham County) does NOT have the lien information on line (or if they do, it is a subscription service or a pay per visit). In the site that was free, I either typed the property address or the name of the property owner in, and it showed a lot of info including mortgage amount. Thanks, Customer (name blocked for privacy)

In order to assist you better on this I am going to need to know the name of the person. The address and any other info you can give me to check. You can post it here where it is not secure or send it to me in a private message by clicking my username and then clicking on PM (private message) and sending this info direct to me via private message. If you can provide this info then I will do my best to try and locate the site your asking for. But I need the info your searching for.

Could www.zillow.com be the link you had been to?

I have been to Zillow before. I am not aware of any Mortgage Info on Zillow. Maybe I am not going to the right icons on that site. Let me know exactly how to find out (i.e. navigate the site)to get the original morgage on an home in Zillow

I used www.brbpub.com for information like that. Using your address as an example, I was able to go onto the Chatham County Board of Assessors site and pull up the property card records for your address (beautiful house, by the way!) Though it doesnt list the name of the lender, it does list a sale on 07/20/01 for $279,500.00. The site is:

http://www.chathamcounty.org/prc.html

Put in your address, view the results and let me know if this is what you are looking for.

I know about the assessors site. It offers useful info for free, but it does not show mortgages and morgage amounts. That is what I am looking for without paying any fees to get such info.
