Reply to Love Research's Post: The artist would make one original doll to be mass produced. I would prefer to do business with US based companies but will go overseas if needed.
Thanks!

Reply to Love Research's Post: The original doll would be a heat-fired ceramic or solid clay model - a sculpted doll. This scuplted doll would be the artist's original creation which we would then send out to be reproduced. The reproduced doll would be made of vinyl similar to the Berenguer Dolls found in most toy stores. I would like to do limited edition reproductions; 250 to 500 vinyl reproductions. Unlike the Berenguer dolls, these would be fairly high end dolls retailing for approx. $500 per unit. The reproduction facility would need to be able to provide realistic coloring to the dolls to make them appear life-like (as well as realistic hair, clothing, etc.).

The artist is currently "reborning" Berenguer Dolls (Google reborn Berenguer dolls for more info). She is currently reselling the "reborn" dolls for $250 (avg). She (and other "reborning artists") are inquiring about producing original works for small lot reproduction as described above.

Thanks
